Weeknight Cook was delighted to be part of this year’s Delicious & Delightful Festival. The day was full of laughter, food, and the kind of community spirit that makes local events so special. Being involved gave us the chance to connect with families, young people, and local residents, all coming together to celebrate creativity and fun. Arrow Energy’s Flavours of Our Community One of the highlights for us was the Cook Off Competition. We were proud to donate our sous vide beef to the teams, giving them a high-quality ingredient to experiment with during the short thirty-minute cooking challenge. While the focus was on teamwork and enjoyment, our beef helped teams create delicious dishes and sparked excitement among the young participants. It was a joy to see our contribution encouraging learning and collaboration in such a fun environment. Celebrating Our Community For Weeknight Cook, being part of the festival was about more than food. It was about supporting local initiatives and giving back to the community that inspires us every day. The energy, creativity, and laughter from the participants reminded us why getting involved in local events is so important. Celebrating Success: High School Fundraiser Raises $800 for Cambodia Trip We are thrilled to share the fantastic success of our recent fundraiser at Dalby High School! Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our wonderful community, we raised an impressive $800. This amount will help support 14 enthusiastic students and 3 dedicated teachers as they prepare for a life-changing journey to Cambodia in 2026. A Journey with Purpose During their two-week stay in Cambodia, these students and teachers will embark on meaningful community projects. Their mission includes teaching English and setting up a new classroom, ensuring a lasting impact on the local community. It's a unique opportunity for them to make a difference and learn valuable life lessons along the way.
